Skills

• Arrive at work on time
• Guest service :
Meet and greet guests promptly
Give menu’s immediately after seated
Take drinks orders and serve promptly
Ensure food orders are taken promptly
Ensure food are served promptly
• Hand stock figures in on time
• Ensure areas are stocked before service
o Work well in a team, must be able to motivate the team.
o Good and calm communication skills with guests and co-workers alike.
Responsibilities
Full responsiblility for the food and beverage department including the following, but not limited to:
o Ensure that all menus are up to date, including wine lists.
o Reprinting of menus when necessary.
o Ensure all areas are stocked for service.
o Ensure all muis and plus are done for the shift.
o Communicate with the kitchen before service to know what the dishes/specials of the day are.
o Meet and greet guests promptly.
o Give menu’s immediately after seated.
o Take drinks orders and serve promptly.
o Ensure food orders are taken promptly.
o Communicate with guests should the kitchen experience a delay.
o Handle guest complaints.
o Ensure proper and accurate billing.
o Do beverage stock counts for ordering and control purposes with the responsible person.
o Do menu training with staff.
o Do service training with staff.
o Food and beverage cost of sales figures.
