Title : Nurse Educator
Location : Bartow, FL
Duation: Full time employee
Job Responsibilities:
• Assesses designs, organizes, develops, evaluates and assumes responsibility for community outreach programs. Maintains standards of professional practice and patient care. Maintains accurate and complete records.
• Develops and provides community education and maintains a process to promote and maintain a positive `relationship within the community. Provide patient and family education
Required Skills:
• An RN graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current BLS and ACLS course completion.
• Current BLS, PALS and ACLS instructor preferred. Diabetic Education certification. Experience: A minimum of five years recent experience as an educator.
Community Education Experience Preferred. Skills:
• Good oral and written communication skills. Must be able to relate to patients, physicians, hospital staff, visitors and regulatory bodies.
• Able to maintain confidentiality of information. Possesses strong skills in prioritization, teaching, coordinating and presentation of programs. Effective interpersonal and critical thinking skills. Demonstrates the ability to work independently.
