| Job Description: |
Required · Minimum three years experience in technical writing, including developing and maintaining documentation in a team-based environment. Experience with content remediation is a must. · Experience developing and maintaining Web based content for multiple delivery channels, including technical articles, white papers, blogs, FAQs, how-to procedures, defects, troubleshooting, and other support related content. · Understanding of search engine optimization and metadata concepts. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and publication tools, as well as Web content management and Web development systems. · Good communication and problem-solving skills. · Strong organization skills, good understanding of content publishing workflows and version management. · Self starter; proactive action and accountability for assigned tasks. · Demonstrated ability to work on several projects simultaneously with ability to composite information from multiple sources into coherent products, standards and practices. Desirable · Knowledgeable of HTML, ASP, JavaScript, CSS, DHTML. · Experience writing SQL (SQL) queries. · Experience using Trisoft and Drupal. · Experience managing wikis and forums in a support environment. · Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
