| Job Description: |
Purpose of Job
To provide design service for onshore civil and architectural work. This includes infrastructure facilities (e.g. roads, bridges, wharves, coastal defences, domestic water, sewerage, surface water drainage, and buildings), onshore well sites, and production facilities, tanks and soil investigations
Principal accountabilities
To implement the requirements of the EMS and to assume the responsibilities for the applicable tasks described in that documentation:
To provide civil and architectural designs for all onshore infrastructure, and oil and gas facilities
To plan, co-ordinate and control the relevant part of the design work, such as feasibility studies, soil investigation, conceptual design, detailed design and maintenance aspects both in-house and with design consultants
To rationalise and update technical standards, civil specifications, drawings and procedures
Onshore traffic studies, special (heavy) transports and civil engineering input to other onshore logistics studies
Identification of information needs of civil engineering activities. Identification of opportunities for improving the performance of activities via improved flow and usage of information and via appropriate application of information technology

Skills Required:: |
Minimum 5 years discipline experience in oil and gas industry
Must have completed Phase 1 of FEPS scheme
Good interpersonal communications and coordinating skills
Full understanding of HSE management principles and its application in BSP
Working knowledge of all relevant BSP HSE regulations including procedures and instructions
