Purpose of Job
• Co-ordinate and update mandatory HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) training matrix based on the Company’s needs and requirements, taking into account the changing nature of the business
• Act as guardian for BSP HSE Induction process for new employees (both staff and contractors) before they start their employment by conducting a 90-min briefing and ensuring that all new employees understand the primary role that HSE plays in Brunei Shell.
• Liaise and maintain good relationship with HLD (the Company’s Learning & Development team) to ensure;
• HSE training courses are current and matched to BSP asset requirements
• On-The-Job Training (OJT) packs are current and available to BSP assets and contractors
• ISSOW training capability is maintained and co-ordinated
• Ensure CBD (Competence Profile) for HSE department positions and BSP HSE critical positions are in place & current and is updated in accordance to both Group Standard and BSP requirements
• Liaise with Capabilty Coordinators across all skillpools and technical authorities to review industry acceptable standards and certificates equivalent to those required in BSP.

Skills Required:: |
Requirements:
• HND or equivalent in any Subject with 5-8 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry or able to demonstrate past experience coordinating training and/or competence assessment
• Possess strong IT Skills - especially in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint
• Strong interpersonal and engaging skills with staff at all levels alike
• Good coaching, good team player and strong influencing skills
• Self motivated and promotes standards
