Marketing Provider Relations Representative - Part Time and Full Time
Positions in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut
About the Job: In coordination with company program, the candidate will develop and oversee programs designed to foster positive relationship between current and potential facilities/physician clients and the Company. The candidate will promote the organization among members of the medical community in order to establish partnerships and affiliations. Position also acts as intermediary between Company and clients. Must be outgoing and detail-oriented individual in managing the operational activities of the networks of physicians to which assigned. Position requires that the majority of time be spent externally.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating meetings with physicians and/or office managers to promote Marketing.
Responsible for increasing referrals from targeted physicians and facilities through the sharing of information and education using a consultative sales and credibility-based relationship model.
Responsible for managing personal sales accountabilities and delivering desired results.
Responsible for working with assigned physicians and/or clinics to ensure needs are met within the referral relationship and that the referral relationships are retained.
Responsible for ensuring that the physician office/local staff is educated as to the offerings and process.
Responsible for working with assigned clinics and division leadership to build a hospital specific sales plan targeting physicians, clinics, and strategic services.
Responsible for documentation and reporting of activities, satisfaction levels and market intelligence.
Responsible for serving as the clinics and physician`s conduit for issue resolution and the coordination of customer service between Company and client.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Understanding of the customer service process
Ability to handle rejection and persevere when dealing with conflict
Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills
Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, grammar and proofreading skills
Understanding the function of Products
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Computer skills, with emphasis on Word, Access and Excel
Knowledge of health care provider information
Ability to multitask, working well under various stressful and time-sensitive situations
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
a year experience working with a providers, or six months experience in the healthcare and/or insurance industry
Desired:
Experience in customer service and Provider Relations, or understanding of healthcare providers and healthcare insurance
Medical terminology
Essential Functions:
Ability to speak clearly and hear to exchange information with customers
Compensation: Salary plus bonus based on physician enrollment and performance goals.
