Job profile :
1.. Write and check programs on Oracle.
2. Interact with other departments and understand requirements.
3. Build and test interfaces for exchange of information with other systems.
4. Be the inhouse resource for all Oracle platform developments.
Candidate Profile :
The ideal person should have a combination of Development & DBA experience in Oracle E-business Suite.
Age: 25 to 35 Years
Location: Dubai (The presence of applicant in UAE is a must)
Technical Specifications:
BS or BA in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
Exposure on Oracle E-Business Suite 11i and infrastructure (at least 4 years experience)
Knowledge on the following development tools :
Oracle Reports 6i
Oracle Forms 6i
Oracle Discoverer 10g
Oracle Workflow
Toad 7 or higher
Application/SQL Tuning
Experience in Data conversions using Oracle API, SQL Loader and Oracle Interfaces
Experience on Integrating third party software systems to Oracle
In-depth knowledge of and experience with Oracle PL/SQL coding
Exposure on XML Publisher (XDO)(version 5.5 or higher)/BI
Knowledge in Oracle Alerts
Experience on the following E-Business Suite Modules:
Financials : GL, AP, AR, FA
HR : HRMS (PER), Payroll (PAY)
Distribution : INV, OM, Purchasing(PO),Advance Pricing (QP), MWA(MSCA)
Others : CRM, Daily Business Intelligence (BIS)
Experience on Linux/UNIX shell scripting/programming will be an added advantage
Trainings/Certifications Required:
Oracle Database Administration 9i or 10g
Oracle Backup and Recovery
Oracle Performance Tuning
System Administration Essentials
Knowledge of Database Backup and Recovery scenarios
Good understanding of the underlying operating system Linux/Unix
Monitoring and Maintenance of Databases particularly on 9i (e.G. Schemas, tablespaces, rollback segments, redo logs, archive logs and datafiles, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures)
Knowledge in Oracle Data Integrity, Security Management, Database Design and implementation
Knowledge using Oracle Enterprise Manager
Experience in SQL scripting on DML, DCL and DDL
Knowledge in Database Installation, migration, configuration and Upgrade of Oracle Server
Good Knowledge of Operating System performance tuning
Good Knowledge in SQL, PL/ SQL
