This position is located in the District Department of the Environment, Natural Resources Administration, Water Quality Division, Monitoring and Assessment Branch. The incumbent is responsible for reviewing the construction grants applications received from entities to ensure compliance with the relevant local and federal water quality Acts and Regulations. Assist the Division’s management in establishing guidelines and setting of priorities for water pollution control activities in division via budget preparation and spending control and other oversight practices. Monitors and reports periodic progress of grantees’ activities and ensures that the grant is managed as per the scope of work to fulfill grant requirements and technical objectives. Coordinates the public outreach requirements of the grant programs. Represents the Division on various local and regional committees related to various water quality issues such as toxics and nutrients reduction. |
Skills Required:: |
A college degree in biology, chemistry, envionrmental sciences or related field or a combination of education and experience, college level education training, and/or technical experience. |
