| Job Description: |
Experience shall encompass all aspects of mechanical system design, equipment (static and rotating), piping systems, design and construction standards, codes of practice. Relevant knowledge, skills and experience in equipment sizing software, codes. Working knowledge of materials and corrosion, pipelines. Relevant appreciation of other discipline areas and interface requirements to mechanical engineering.
Minimum of 15 years oil & gas engineering experience (of which 4 years upstream). Experience in conceptual, front end and detailed design required (minimum 10 years experience in an engineering design company). Fully conversant with relevant international standards. Experience with Company and/or Shell Group projects and standards (SPs / ERDs and DEPs) is strongly preferred. Field experience in construction & commissioning strongly preferred. |
Skills Required:: |
Degree in discipline specific engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Eng.) is required. |
