Working under the supervision of and in collaboration with, the
Principal, Specialty
Management, and the Registered Nurses of the operating rooms is a
Professionally licensed
Person with demonstrated out patient operative clinical expertise. The
Individual in this
Position provides a 100% clinical service for the operating room by:
Assisting the clinical staff in case preparation activities. Planning
And coordinating
Intra-operative care for patients undergoing surgical intervention for
A cluster of
Surgical specialties. Applying and interpreting out patient surgical
Center policies and
Nursing practice
Guidelines. Participating in the monitoring of inventory control and
Quality of the
Operating rooms. Ensuring
The order, functionality, availability of OR personal, supplies and
Equipment.
Maintaining an
Effective line of communication with the control desk, sales
Representatives, surgeons,
Ancillary staff, and visitors. Participating in select patient care
Activities such as
Scrubbing, circulating, room turnover and transporting as required or
Assigned.
Participating in and collaborating with the Administrative Director,
Surgical Services,
In meeting the department`s budgetary objectives. Behaviorally
Supporting the
Philosophy, objectives and goals of out patient surgery center
Administration and its
Representatives.

Skills Required:: |
Has work in Hospital and or a surgical center. Have had experience has a Charge Nurse/Manager a plus.
1-2 years experience. Licensed and certified in California.
