<H4> Protection Engineer </H4>Qualifications:- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum three years relevant experience with electrical power systems, practices and philosophies
- Good knowledge of protective relay applications, including international standards and practices
- Working knowledge of automation applications
- Excellent technical training, speaking and writing skills
- Willing to travel internationally up to 40%
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience being a part of project teams
- Experience in panel design for international customers
- Electrical utility, consulting or system integrator experience
- Experience with EMTP and stability studies
- Engineer in Training or Registered Professional Engineer
- Lived or worked outside North America
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of international standards and practices.
- Do technical and engineering tasks such as panel design, event report analysis, product test schemes, protection scheme designs and relay coordination services as part of a project team.
