Marine Superintendent
An expanding international ship management company is seeking to employ a marine superintendent. The successful candidate will be part of the Quality & Marine team, reporting to the department manager. The position involves worldwide travel to vessels for routine marine visits and internal audits.
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Seagoing experience on tankers, LPG in a senior position
- A valid master’s licence
- Experience with Ocimf Sire system, safety (Ism/iso), quality management & security systems (ISPS Code) would be beneficial
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and Iso 14001
- Excellent English communication/report-writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- High levels of professionalism and responsibility in relation to maritime rules and regulations
- Willingness to travel
