The Green Chimneys Farm Internship is a unique hands-on learning opportunity for individuals to develop skills working within the human-animal bond. Our internships are full-time and run semester-long. A small stipend, as well as room and board, is available. The internship experience includes helping with farm chores and animal husbandry, assisting with our special education Farm Classes & programming for the public, and training and practice conducting Animal Assisted Activities with our student population on-campus. |
Skills Required:: |
Must be 20+ years old. Require outdoor farm work in all weather. Must be able to lift heavy equipment, push wheelbarrels, and so on. No experience required, but a plus. Good interpersonal skills, willingness to work hard, and positive attitude are must.
