Specific responsibilities include:
• To be able to understand all of the needed processes and components to produce a high performance BI environment.
• To be able to provide assessments and recommendations related to the functioning of the Oracle technology stack related to performance and production operations of Oracle Data Warehouse environments. The primary focus of the Data Warehouse Lifecycle resource is in-depth knowledge of the data architectures used and implemented in the database; the ETL architecture and process flow.
• Developer skills in the front end reporting and analysis of BI applications

Requirements:
Has the ability to competitively differentiate OWB, ODI and the architectures of other ETL solutions
• Able to develop the Technical Architecture requirements for large scale DW and BI implementations that include RAC or Grid technology
• Can quickly assess existing implementations of Oracle or 3rd party BI applications to provide recommendations and best practices.
• Has experience in designing and implementing end-to-end ETL mappings in OWB, ODI.
• Has ability to deploy partitioned tables for VLDB data warehouse.
• Can review the DW design, query plans and database log to troubleshoot performance problems related to ETL and queries/reporting.
• Able to design Data Warehouse utilizing the grid and RAC architecture.
• Subject matter expert on capacity planning and ETL processing.
• Extremely proficient in workflow and process flows using OWB and OEM and experienced in designing Data Warehouse Management.
• Extremely proficient in Data Warehouse Method (DWM).
