Job Title: Quality Control Manager
Job Specifications:
Required Educational Level:
B.Sc . in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Required Experience:
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in senior role of Quality Control or related field
Professional Knowledge:
- Professional knowledge in Quality Control
- Professional knowledge in engineering materials and manufacturing principles
- Professional knowledge in industrial materials standards and specifications
- Professional knowledge in Quality Management System
- Professional knowledge in Advanced Statistics
Formulating Policies and Objectives and Proposing Strategies
• Participating in formulating strategies, policies and objectives for the Division, as well as for the Quality Control Department
• Developing and executing comprehensive-Quality Control plans and programs, both short and long term, to achieve stated objectives
• Monitoring the Quality Control Department performance against pre-set performance goals and ensure that preventive/corrective actions are taken accordingly
• Setting the estimated budget for the Quality Control Department, and monitoring the department`s expenditures and financial performance in coordination with Finance Division
• Disseminating instructions and circulars in addition to take administrative and technical decisions necessary to fulfill endorsed plans and executive programs
Technical Duties
• Developing and implementing quality control plans, including resource, systems, timescales, financials, to support, contribute to, and integrate within, the production systems and quality policy of the company
• Developing and maintaining systems and procedures required to establish standards relating to production activities and products and to measure the performance against established standards
• Taking. implementing, and following up on necessary corrective and preventive actions according to the performance levels achieved
• Establishing and implementing necessary communication for the improvement and awareness of the products` quality issues across all production activities
• Reporting as necessary of the Quality Control activities, achievements, and any changes related to standards and performance against standards
• Applying the total quality management tools and approaches to the analytical and reporting processes within each section of the Quality Control department
• Providing follow up on various quality issues of products and systems as received internally (operations) or externally (customer complaints) and coordinating with concerned departments` managers
• Coordinating the objectives with the production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs
