| Job Description: |
Responsible for overseeing the integration of designs from multiple engineering organizations to support a major international nuclear power plant project. Responsible for the oversight of four units located at two different sites. Implements programs to oversee and monitor progress and success during the execution of the project. Monitors activities to ensure project objectives are met. Ensures that lessons learned between units and sites are shared and incorporated as appropriate.. Roles and responsibilities include: point of contact for all design work; ensure consistency of work among all projects, Nuclear Division Standards are being deployed for all design deliverables across all disciplines and projects; interface with Westinghouse and other Shaw Offices to ensure consistency/quality of products, estimate preparation and work scheduling; ensure required training for all designers has been performed; maintain summary of deliverables and standard design tools; liaison between CAE, design, engineering and construction for use of discipline standard design tools and deliverables to assist construction workflows. Discipline Chief Engineers establish technical requirements. |
Skills Required:: |
Required Qualifications
More than 15 years experience managing design teams and experience designing nuclear power plants . Understanding of nuclear requirements. Must have experience managing large design groups (20+ individuals). Candidate must meet the criteria for access to the company`s, partners`, and clients` technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Epc engineering experience.
