* Maintaining the integrity and security of servers and systems used for development and running Software.
* Manages multiple linked databases to include security, data safety and integrity, disaster recovery, and development and implementation of bulk data import/export procedures.
* Plans and implements system security policy, to include firewalls, host and client access, file permissions, and user accounts.
* Troubleshoots networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational problems. |
Skills Required:: |
* Should have implemented solutions on at least two different distributions of linux. Redhat Linux.
* Should have a sound knowledge of TCP IP networking, OS internals including tuning the OS etc.
* Must be action oriented
* Strong problem solving skills
* Ability to identify, evaluate and learn new technologies rapidly and utilize that information in development. |
