Devoll Hydropower Sh.A. Is a company registered in Albania and active in the field of hydroelectric power, and is responsible for the overall construction and operation of major hydroelectric power facilities along the Devoll. The company is owned by Austrian EVN AG and Norwegian Statkraft AS. The parent companies of Devoll Hydropower, with their long and broad international experience in the energy industry, will ensure good industry practice and compliance with European standards.
Devoll Hydropower Sh.A. Is looking for candidates to fulfil the following position:
Communications Manager
Key Responsibilities:
► Co-ordination, planning, execution and evaluation of all company communication activities.
► The Communications Manager reports to the Ceo.
► Supporting company management in all aspects of communication and providing professional advice
► Responsibility for communication strategy planning and execution in the fields of public relations, advertising, sponsoring, market research and internal communication
► Preparation and distribution of company press releases.
► Establishing and maintaining good relationships with all relevant media.
► Acting as contact person for journalists/reporters.
► Delivery of reports, briefing, informing and updating the executive level on relevant issues.
► Maintenance of the company’s corporate communication and design guidelines
► Editorial responsibility for the company’s web-site
► Responsibility for implementing internal communication policies, strategy and guidance in close cooperation with management.
► Identify and communicate with interest groups, policy makers and local government on policy and issues specific to the region.

Skills Required:: |
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
► University Degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field is required. Master’s Degree would be an asset.
► At least three years previous experience in communication.
► Excellent writing skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to articulate messages clearly and concisely in an engaging style.
► Experience of managing the production of printed material, including brochures, leaflets, briefing third party designers/printers to ensure corporate brand and style is met.
► Excellent knowledge of Albanian language, excellent knowledge of English.
Basic knowledge of German is useful.
► Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships in all target groups.
► Planning and managing public events.
► Good knowledge of Albanian legislation and competent handling of government, corporate and public relations.
► A broad network and professional relationships with journalists/media.
► Experience in advertising/marketing is useful and would be an asset.
► Experience working in an international environment.
