| Job Description: |
* As a Account Executive (internal role mapping will be defined) at Cognizant Technology Solutions, your primary responsibility is to generate leads, qualify and secure new business opportunities, within a targeted marketplace. In addition, you will need to understand the company`s methodology, delivery process as well as the details of Cognizant`s service offerings. You will establish, build and manage client relationships with key decision makers within the target companies including C-level executives.
* Leverage those relationships to understand the client`s overall business goals and identify avenues for Cognizant to implement IT solutions while positioning Cognizant as a strategic IT partner.
* Participate in key industry forums such as trade shows, and also network effectively with Industry Leaders, Competitors and Cognizant Alliance Partners & Vendors.
* Prepare and make sales presentations and structure quality sales proposals.
* You will work closely with other Sales Executives, Subject Matter Experts, and Solution Architects & Delivery Experts within Cognizant.
* Carry out sales and technical discussions with potential clients and negotiate profitable purchase decisions.
* You will be responsible for coordinating sales efforts with Cognizant`s marketing and sales support organizations.
Key Qualifications:
* Significant domain knowledge in the Domains Verticals (For Eg, Manufacturing, Life Science, Retail etc)
* Very strong experience in consultative selling
* Offshore "hands-on" experience. Primarily with India
* Hunter mentality with a proven track record of winning and exceeding your goals
