| Job Description: |
To undertake Interpretation projects to develop feasibility studies as well as geological models. In addition you must be familiar with building geological models using seismic, well logs and potential field data.
Job Responsibilities
Interpretation of Gravity Gradient or conventional gravity and magnetic data
Develop working relationships with clients to include taking responsibility for the project, project time management and presentation of results
Develop new and improve existing interpretation services, products and practices
Assist the sales and marketing departments with technical papers and presentations
Write, deliver and present papers and conduct research related work
Attend conferences, seminars and workshops as required
Travel required
Candidate Requirements

Skills Required:: |
Essential
Geophysical or Geological Degree
Experience with a service or Oil company
Sound knowledge of the application of potential field geophysics to exploration programs - from basin scale geological interpretation to the application of 3D gravity inversion to constrain velocity modeling of salt structures
Excellent communication skills
Ability to conduct interpretation projects to technically high standards and to agreed deadlines
Able to present work to clients in a business environment
Highly desirable
MSc Level, preferable PhD
Reasonable experience in seismic data interpretation will be desirable
Knowledge of the geology associated with oil/gas development within the continental US would be highly regarded
