| Job Description: |
The Role:
Supervise all technical activities as given in the Job Description of Technical Engineers.
Conduct necessary study to optimize cable construction.
Conduct necessary study to optimize material cost including different PVC formulations.
Participate in all seminars, conference concerning cables & related subject.
Maintain close co-ordination with all concerned departments and provide technical assistance to Commercial Department, Export Department, Quality Control Department, High Voltage Section, Copper Rod Plant & Carpentry etc. regarding all technical matters.
Provide necessary training for Technical & other Engineers as & when needed.
Approve technical documents.
Represent company for all technical matters.
Requirements
-Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering.
-Minimum 5 years experience in cable design or QC.
-Sound knowledge about cable production and testing.
-Sound knowledge of latest cable specifications and design constructions.
-Good knowledge about Quality Assurance and Quality Control
-Good knowledge about Network Design (Transmission and Distribution)
-Sound knowledge in computer operation.
