My client is searching for IT & Billing Director
Purpose
• To lead the IT & Billing planning, dimensioning and architecture, including expansions and upgrades; and provide technical expertise to ensure the Billing System and IT Network maintains high quality and optimum performance levels.
• The IT & Billing Director formulates strategies for the growth and integrity of the IT & Billing Systems, to include Pre and Post paid Billing systems, VOMS, network elements in support of authorisation and authentication of data, and enterprise support infrastructure; and seeks approval for these from the CTO and ensures these policies are applied consistently and fairly across the company.
• The key responsibility for this role is to maintain integrity in the assessment and recommendation process when looking at the development and introduction of new services and upgrades relating to Billing Systems.
• Work is directed by the CTO and reviewed with the IT & Billing Director on a periodic basis.
• Serves as the technical expert for all planning, design, implementation and system growth for IT & Billing related services including VOMS, new technologies, features & system upgrades. Ensure appropriate capacity HW & SW is maintained to support all aspects of the IT & Billing Systems.
• Responsible for analysing statistical & performance data to determine best technical design & solution for optimisation of Billing systems and IT network. Ensures that system performance meets or exceed agreed standards and objectives. Provides Management with a written assessment on the state of the network that identifies all the critical issues.
• To lead, and work with the Quality Assurance department, in developing and implementing procedures and standards that will provide effective workflows and satisfy the business needs of the Company. Etc.
• Develops in-house capability and expertise to assume IT & Billing planning responsibilities in order to reduce reliance on third party suppliers and contractors.
