My client is searching for Telecom Project Manager with previous GSM TX technical experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership in resolving all contractual issues with existing and new vendors/suppliers.
Will acquire detailed knowledge of vendors/suppliers responsibilities and liabilities, scope of work
Take the leadership in negotiating and resolving all commercial, contractual and legal issues with vendors, suppliers, site owners and customers.
Support purchasing group in negotiating Terms and Conditions for new contracts with new and existing suppliers.
Support network staff (esp. The deployment team) in clarifying and resolving all commercial, contractual and legal issues during all project phases from contract negotiations, acceptance and hand over phases.
Support Site Acquisition team in reviewing lease contracts and recommend solutions. Also support them in resolving contractual/legal issues with site owners.
Support finance group in resolving invoicing and payment issues.
Make sure that issues are appropriately escalated either within the relevant vendor’s organization until they are finally resolved.
Has financial and commercial responsibilities in terms of authorizing subcontractors’ invoices, site leases, Provisional Acceptance certificates (PAC). The RM can delegate his responsibilities to a senior staff in the regional team as needed.
Skills Required:
A minimum BSC in Business administration with preferably background in finance, Telecommunication or Computer science.
Has diverse and thorough technical GSM/UMTS knowledge and a minimum of 5 years experience in rolling out BSS (of GSM and UMTS) and associated
Transmission networks (based on PDH and SDH solutions). He should preferably has knowledge in Core networks including MSS, SGSN/GGSN, HLR, IN and VAS solutions.
Has a minimum experience of 5-years in contract managing with operators and in similar GSM/UMTS green field networks projects. It is preferred that he/she has certification in project management.
Has leadership skills in managing field staff at different seniority levels.
Has work experience in Middle East and acquired knowledge of local legal conditions and customs.
Communication skills and fluent in both Arabic and English.
