Essential Job Functions
Develop a data analysis model to evaluate
investment candidates that are aligned with
Sterlings strategic and financial goals
Perform commercial, technical, financial analyses
of investment candidates
Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses,
projections, reports and presentations regarding
the impact of an acquisition on the Company
Develop target approach and bid strategies for
acquisition candidates
Conduct due diligence of selected target companies
Develop a clear and well-articulated strategic and
financial rationale for proposed investments and be
able to communicate effectively to executive
management team
Assist development of integration strategy for
closed transactions
Serve as key resource for understanding and
making decisions regarding growth opportunities
available to the Company, including development
and presentation or periodic reporting to executive
management team
Compensation

Skills Required:: |
Job Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Finance or Economics
MBA an advantage
Experienced mergers and acquisitions
professional with preference for chemicals- and
energy-sector experience
Proven ability to conceptualize and analyze complex
business problems and issues
Proven experience in the acquisition and merger life
cycle from target identification and evaluation
through deal execution and integration
Strong analytical skills, specifically financial
analysis and valuation
High level of professionalism, integrity and
confidentiality
Ability to communicate effectively with all
stakeholders
Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams and
lead through influence
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel
and PowerPoint
The ideal candidate will have the ability to both
focus on detail and grasp the big picture
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time
basis |
