The Role
You must be eligible to work in uk!
Implementing hardware graphics solution appropriate for Linux platforms using 3D hardware
Primary responsibilities will include
Design and develop Linux graphics drivers to drive our current and next generation graphics cores
Performance and Optimisation of the driver code
Working closely within the team and liaising externally with other research and development teams
Architectural and functional documentation

Skills Required:: |
Required Skills
Excellent C programming skills
Excellent Linux development skills in a commercial environment - not just open source
Software engineer with a background in low level driver writing
A good view of systems architecture issues
Familiarity with driver level Linux graphics, including one or more of X11 DirectFB, Android (SurfaceFlinger)
Desirable Skills
Linux used in embedded environments
Experience with hardware would be useful
Experience with OpenGL ES or OpenGL
An understanding or history with 2D graphics
Operating System
