IT Technician – Immediate Need!
Full-time opportunity to work on-site at global company in Moscow, Russia
6 month contract, possible extension
•Deployment of desktop PCs, laptops & monitors, including imaging these systems.
•Hardware repairs (component swap outs) and preventative maintenance (quarterly, bi-annually).
•Ensuring on-site technical stock levels maintained.
•Administering repairs and re-calls.
•Asset tagging of hardware equipment.
•Blackberry ordering and asset tagging.
•Daily blackberry deployment (delivery to user, basic config).
•Warranty management.
•Monitor, update and maintain tickets queue
•Manage and maintain audio/video equipment for video conferencing in a corporate environment.
•Troubleshoot, test, and maintain video/audio/phone and related equipment (project filter and lens, laptop, remote control, quality of image/display, projector alignment, speaker)
•Maintain and manage cables/networks (power supplies, VGA cables, RJ45/Ethernet cables, DVI to VGA converter)
•Conference Room maintenance
Requirements:
•2 + years minimum related experience
•Good hardware knowledge (laptops/PCs/Peripherals, etc.)
•Previous experience maintaining and troubleshooting audio/video equipment strongly desired
•Knowledge of computers, networks and cable management a plus
•Strong interest in computers/information technology, audio/video equipment in particular
•Attention to detail and sense of urgency
•Excellent verbal communication skills
•Excellent customer service, organizational skills
•Professional demeanor, high level of motivation and initiative
•Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with excellent follow up.
•Ability to work on own initiative.
•Local candidates Russia work authorization
•Fluent (or very good) English.
