BI Business Analyst

A challenging position for an individual to fill the vacancy at their Bellville offices as a Business Analyst to analyse and document the business requirements for business intelligence solutions.
Education/Exp:
• Matric or NQF level 4 equivalent & Technical or Commercial degree
• Min of 8yrs IT exp
• Business or systems analysis exp
• Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills
• Exp in data warehousing and business intelligence
Responsibilities:
• Determine business needs for BI solutions
• Obtain the business requirements and uncover business opportunities, resulting functionality, data and processes needed in order to recommend the appropriate solution
• Document business specifications
• Look for opportunities to improve existing BI solutions
• Develop and document appropriate test plans
• Support Systems Analysts and Developers to ensure understanding and accuracy in interpretation of business requirements during the development phase
• Quality assure the final product before user testing and handover
• Assist Retail Finance and BI (RFBI) with the training and support
• Liaise with and support business users, RFBI and relevant systems teams as required in terms of requirements, support for queries and progress
• Quality assure user documentation
