| Job Description: |
Our Client is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead and manage the Airfield electrical team and to maintain and upkeep all airfield electrical equipments and systems in highly operational condition
The incumbent will be responsible for the planning, supervision and execution of all preventive, corrective and improvement works and to ensure they are carried out timely and in a safe manner as such not to hinder the airport operations.
Duties:
1) Responsible for the day to day operation of all electrical systems within the airfield
2) Responsible for the planning and execution of the preventive maintenance program for all Airfield Electrical systems
3) Responsible for the management and supervision of the Airfield electrical team.
4) Responsible for the response and downtime of airfield electrical lighting systems and the timely rectification.
5) Responsible for all on-calls after office hours and weekends.
6) Responsible for the overseeing of all new projects within the airfield.
7) Responsible for ordering and replenishing all spare parts requirements
8) Responsible for the training of the personnel under his charge
9) Responsible for the proper management of outsourced works to term contractors in the airfield
10) Responsible for the EHS and safety procedures for works within the airside

Skills Required:: |
Educational Qualifications/Experience/Skills/Expertise:
1) Should possess at a minimum a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of three years full time study
2) Should have a minimum of 5 years of works experience in a commercial airport, overseeing the airfield electrical systems
3) Should be well versed with Microsoft office and Autocad Ver 14.
4) Should be able to interpret and comment on all drawings and specifications involving the airfield system
5) Should have good leadership capabilities and ability to lead a team of supervisors and technicians to undertake work around the clock.
6) Should have good verbal and written communication skills
7) Should be well versed with the ICAO requirements and recommendations for the airfield electrical systems and signages
