The Creative Arts and Technology(CAT) division at Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, NJ, is currently looking for the right adjunct instructor for an Introduction to MAYA class on Monday evenings beginning September 14th from 6pm to 9:30 The class meets once a week for 14 weeks.
Introduction to Maya
This course is in a lecture/ demonstration setting. Students will learn advanced techniques of 3D object building along with the basic theories and principles of animation using Maya. Form, space, light and texture will be covered in lectures demonstrations, discussions and readings. All requisite skills needed to construct complex 3D objects in Maya will be introduced with hands-on experiences on the Mac platform. The student will be come comfortable with the user interface of Maya. A comprehensive critique will be conducted regularly to encourage good design, concept and efficient use of the software.
