| Job Description: |
Timely execution of tasks in conjunction with Engineering, review drawing & procedure against the Project Timing Schedule with accurate and up to date reporting.
To provide input into design – review.
Preparation and review of Specifications and Project Documentation that satisfies Classification Society Rules, Codes and IMCA Guidelines associated with the Diving industry.
Liaison with Classification Society on design submissions and ongoing Inspection and Survey activities.
Timely Procurement of system components against the Project Timing Schedule.
Liaison with internal Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing and Quality departments.
Liaison with external Suppliers and Sub-contractors.
Liaison with internal specialists and external specialists such as Naval Architects and Shipyard personnel.

Skills Required:: |
Good communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal.
Sound engineering knowledge and understanding gained by education and actual practical experience.
Adaptable and self motivated.
Articulate with System Integration when reviewing Specifications, Schematics and Detail Drawings.
Close attention to detail when issuing procurement and product specifications to ensure items are fit for purpose with regard to certification and function.
Clear, concise and practical preparation of Specifications and Project documentation.
Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience with Electro-mechanical, Hydraulic or Pneumatic systems.
Experience within the Safety Critical, engineered product industries such as Marine Diving, Aerospace would be a distinct advantage.
Experienced and capable with AutoCad and Microsoft Office applications.
