Position Summary
Responsible for following organizational direction and meeting established expectations when performing required operational duties; and for assessment, treatment and transport of ill or injured patients. This will be accomplished through effective communication, initiative and insight, sound technical and professional knowledge, and promotion of best practices for both internal and external clients.
Position Qualifications:
Educational Qualifications
· Graduate of an accredited College of EMT or Paramedics in country of origin and/or country of professional practice
· Current Registered Licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate in country of citizenship or professional practice.
· Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
· Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Nrp)
· Current Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
Professional Experience
§ At least three (3) years of recent post-graduate general nursing experience.
§ Evidence of continuing education.
§ Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
§ Basic understanding of personal computers; computer literacy preferred.
§ Understanding/experience in JCIA.
