We currently have a need for a Manager within our Systems Integration organization. This individual will report directly to the VP of SAP Delivery and will be part of the Application Service Management team. The Systems Integration organization is responsible for the delivery of solutions for implementation and support of SAP, other packaged applications, and custom solutions for Enterprise Resource Planning, Supply Chain Management, Product Lifecycle Management, Customer Relationship Management, and Application Management Services.
Position Summary:
The Service Level Delivery Manager is primarily responsible for leading the organization that supports specific customer software applications (custom and packaged) that are running in a productive mode. These responsibilities include financial management, human resource management, vendor management, establishment of technical standards, support processes and procedures, and ensuring the quality (to include attainment of service level metrics) of all supported applications. This individual will also be responsible for driving production efficiencies through various methods such as continuous improvement of delivery techniques, implementation of tools and methods, and sourcing of labor from a combination of on-shore and near-shore resources. The individual must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in SAP software application management support.
The individual occupying this position works with other T-Systems LBU’s and partners to implement and improve effective and efficient sourcing strategies. The individual occupying this position works with company customers, staff, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify customer requirements, compare costs and benefits, and recommend winning AMS solutions. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring attainment of customer service level metrics.

Skills Required:: |
Potential Responsibilities: * Work closely with VP of SAP Delivery to support pre-sales efforts for AMS solutions. * Work with the SSM organization to identify and sell additional business to existing clients. * Lead establishment and transition efforts for new accounts. * Work with other Service Delivery Leaders for the implementation of standard processes and procedures for custom and packaged application support management. * Ensuring that targeted utilization rates are maintained through active resource management. * Execute on the implementation of sourcing strategies for on-shore and near-shore resources. * Active professional development of employees to ensure that they maintain proficiency with needed technologies, processes, and tools. * Actively leading efforts to increase efficiency of the organization through improved skill levels of employees and implementation of tools. * Develop project resource strategies, allocating budget, staff, tools, and specialized support necessary for cost-effective implementation and customer training. * Ensure that application systems are supported in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices. Skills and Knowledge: * Proven track record of effectively managing teams of 20 or more people, and demonstration of improving the overall performance of the team. * Proven track record of managing Application Service Levels. * Strong knowledge of architecture and systems development processes for SAP, Java and other systems and tools. * Demonstrated knowledge of industry standard techniques for application support management for complex businesses and ability to define business requirements in support of the ongoing development of departmental improvements. * Excellent communication (oral, listening, and writing) skills. * Ability to provide effective performance reviews and a regular basis, coach, counsel and mentor employees. * Effective performance management skills required. * Strong problem solving, time management, and organizational skills. * Ability to interact with all levels of management both inside and outside IT services infrastructure. * General knowledge of applications management processes and methodologies. * Excellent customer interaction skills to the Executive IT Management level. Experience: * 5 or more years experience in a senior management role for a Big 5 or equivalent consulting environment. * Proven record of developing sales and participating in pre-sales activities. * 10 or more years experience in gathering requirements, customer management interaction in an IT systems and services delivery environment. * 5 years experience managing exempt/non-exempt professionals in an, IT environment, with proven productivity gains and effective personnel management processes. * PMP and ITIL Management certification desired.
