Position Summary
The Infection Control Nurse is trained in hospital epidemiology principles and is responsible for the surveillance, analysis and reporting of nosocomial infection; educating employees about infection control; and the development of health system policies and procedures to insure rigorous infection control standards that meet JCI, Ministry of Health, Department of Health and Medical Sciences / Dubai Health Authority and Center for Disease Control requirements.
Position Qualifications:
· Current Nursing License
· A minimum of 2 (two) years experience in Infection Control
· Working knowledge of current Joint Commission International Organizations and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) standards, guidelines and
Practices.
· Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
· Teaching experience preferred.
· Computer literate.
· Have demonstrable leadership skills and abilities to provide objective direction for assigned functions and activities; as determined to be adequate by

· Post Graduate Degree or Diploma/Certificate of approved Infection Control course desirable
