| Job Description: |
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Liaises with the Electromechanical Division Manager in works related to tender estimation of electromechanical works contracts
Liaises with the Regional Civil & Marine Tendering Manager in works related to tender estimation of multi- discipline works contracts
Leads a group of engineers dealing with technical, commercial and contractual aspects of the tender
Reviews tender documents, time schedules and bills of quantities
Prepares estimates of required resources and costs and works out construction methodologies and subcontracting needs
Communicates with clients as required and works for ensuring optimum tender price as well as effective post award hand over

Skills Required:: |
University degree in either Mechanical(preferably), or Electrical Engineering
Ten (10) years experience in construction (heavy industrial, electromechanical) of which at least three (3) in a similar position
Good knowledge of project execution methodology
High sense of cost awareness
Fluency in English
Computer literate particularly in programs relevant to estimation
Ability to travel extensively and work outside regular work schedule |
