Job Description:
UDR Inc. is excited to add a Trainer - Developer to the Team in Orange County California. The Trainer - Developer is responsible for interfacing with senior HR management on all company-wide training programs. Additionally, the Trainer - Developer will develop and conduct company-wide training programs, specifically for Operations department.
Responsibilities:
Develop and design company-wide training measurements; training needs assessments; training program curriculum; and task analysis.
Formulate teaching outlines and determine instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
Develop a complete understanding of assigned stakeholder needs in order to offer customized products and services.
Develop and conduct training programs to facilitate employee development.
Develop and maintain training evaluation measures and metrics.
Assist with the determination of training needs; most effective instructional method, teaching aids; and ensure training environment is conducive to learning.
Determine the most appropriate method for assessing training effectiveness. Develop evaluation tools; adjust training methods, delivery, and aids in accordance with effectiveness measure results.
Analyze, define, and prepare training materials to promote training classes; prepare training materials for use in facilitating comprehension and training retention.
Develop select teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference workshops.
Conduct all training sessions at assigned locations. Conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, operations, and quality and process issues.
Coordinate training schedule with senior HR management and with the hiring and training demands of the company.
Design and develop other training programs as needed.
Maintain records on training program attendance, programs offered and utilization levels.
Maintain trainee records and employee database to identify employee training needs, training completion, and succession planning.
Prepare the classroom environment for training including setting up audio-visual equipment, removing unneeded materials from the classroom, setting up materials for use during the program, removing all materials and equipment after training has concluded, and ensuring the facility is left in proper order.
Assist senior HR management with conducting evaluation of training activities, as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.

Skills Required:: |
Prerequisite List:
Bachelor`s degree in Human Resources, Adult Education, or related field, required.
Minimum of three+ years of REIT (multi-family), required.
Knowledge of state and federal employment law is required.
Minimum of seven years` experience, as a Trainer, in human resources management and operations.
