Overview:
Agents are responsible for reviewing, investigating, and following through on customer credit accounts for early delinquency. They use their customer service skills to motivate the customer to make payment arrangements that are suitable for both parties. Successful candidates must have excellent customer service, communication, basic math, typing and computer skills. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Collections experience preferred.
Key Accountabilities:
Contact customers by telephone or letter to arrange payment on delinquent accounts
Research delinquent customer information using credit bureau reports, applications, government agencies, and information from other Macy`s departments.
Maintain records of correspondence from customer sales checks and customer service inquiries
