Base Salary - $68,619 - $106,371

Qualifications:
1. Currently licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Virginia
2. Current approval for prescriptive authority in Virginia;
3. Currently holds a valid DEA certificate; and
4. Currently certified by the Virginia Board of Health Professionals
5. ACLS certification
6. Recent adult medical-surgical experience (5years experience to ideally include 2 years with
relevant pain management experience)
7. Proficient leadership skills.
8. Ability to work cooperatively/collaboratively as part of a team, developing productive
working relationships with diverse groups of people.

Thoracic Nurse Practitioner needed for growing Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery practice in Fredericksburg, VA. We are looking for a second NP to join our team and work with our 4 PAs and 3 surgeons. The NP has as his/her primary responsibility the management of Thoracic surgical patients.
You will enjoy a high responsibility full scope practice that is challenging and rewarding.
Responsibilities include:
- Provides medical care to thoracic surgery and thoracic patients with acute and chronic problems
- Performs physical examinations and assessments of thoracic surgery patients during their initial hospitalization
- Coordinates patient care with members of the health care team
- Supports and assists the thoracic surgery team and other teams to expedite patient flow and patient care
Candidate must posses a valid license issued by the State of Virginia. The ideal candidate will have Thoracic experience.
