Located in the Philly area, an industry leader in Healthcare IT technology and Clinical workflow solutions is seeking a Physician for their Consulting Organization. This is a highly visibly position, you will be supporting product implementation in hospitals nationwide.
Specific Responsibilities:
Leads solution plan development on the most complex projects. Designing strategic project opportunities. Leads project management activities (defining scheduling, budget, risk, change, opportunity and resource management activities) for complex projects. Lead the review of customer implementation projects for physician solutions, methodology review, and internal organizational alignment and capacity development for physician consulting services. Design continuous improvement opportunities. Primary lead for physician solution expertise in customer projects and sales engagements.
Performs special assignments and provides technical/implementation advice in deployment of physician IT solutions. Preempts potential problems and provides effective solutions in reaction to application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes. Displays an expert level of critical thinking in applying principles, theories, and concepts on a wide range of problems.
Demonstrates ability to advance technologies, processes, and practices in the implementation of CPOE & physician workflow-related IT solutions. Serves as the leading point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge for area of expertise. Demonstrates extensive knowledge of organization`s business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues, especially physician adoption and process impact of Clinical IT solutions

Skills Required:: |
Requirements:
MD, with 5 or more years of private practice or hospital based experience
• U.S. based Medical degree
• Currently practicing medicine
• Involvement with a CPOE implementation in a large, multi-facility health system
• Public-speaking and executive presentation experience
• Medical informatics credentials or advanced degree preferred
• Prefer some experience in public-health related projects |
