Qualified candidates must:
- Have a current RN license
- Be currently working in a hospital
- Be able to legally work in the USA (or be a citizen of Canada, Mexico or Australia)
We prefer* candidates who:
- Have strong critical thinking skills.
- Are ACLS and BLS certified
- Have at least 2 years experience in ICU/CCU
- Have the ability to care for high acuity patients (IABP/ CVVHD)
- Are able to function independently during code situations.
- Have experience with Titrate drip and can adjust based on the Homodynamic findings (SWAN).
- Have the ability to operate a temporary pacemaker and knowledge of the different modes.
- Can interpret 12 lead EKG.
*Will consider 2 years experience with 80% of the above skills.
Preferred Certifications: CCRN or CVCRN
Some of the technology and equipment commonly used includes:
IABP, CVVHD Machine, SpaceLab Monitor, Medtronic Pacemaker generator, Transcuteneous pacemaker, Physiocontrol monitor/ defibrillator, Abbott pump.
