Responsibilities:
Direct the development and growth of the clinical analytics service portfolio. Develop strategic plans, set goals, activities and deadlines for clinical analytics solutions that position Vangent at the top of the market. Lead the implementation of strategic and tactical plans to deliver clinical analytic solutions to the Vangent Health Solutions team and ultimately to the Vangent client base.
• Understands Public Health issues, programs, and solutions
• Proficient in Public and private clinical analytics markets
• Strong understanding of Federal government contracting
• Understands the continuum of data processing to include what data to collect, how to collect it, how to analyze it, and what to recommend in order to assure meaningful information for action
• Understands data collection purposes, methods, and tools that drive improved outcomes
• Understands healthcare cost and quality trade-offs
• Understands and utilizes best practice methodologies and tools for data analysis including logistical regression, statistical sampling, surveys, SAS, SPSS, and genetic modeling
• Proficient in Web-based applications and reporting tools to ensure the meaning and utility of the data
• Understands clinical analytics technologies and their trade-offs
• Ability to communicate with health and IT professionals and clinicians
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to self start and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a strong understanding of prioritization
• Participates in the development of the Health Solutions business plan, roadmap, and budget
• Leads the ongoing analysis of the clinical analytics markets
• Develops and maintains an understanding of the clinical analytics competition to ensure that Vangent services and products include a differentiator
• Develops and implement strategies and tactics to ensure attainment of goals for penetration of the clinical analytics market
• Develops and implement tactics required to deliver a portfolio of clinical analytics solutions
• Develops and implement processes to include cross-department inclusion in the building and purchasing of clinical analytics services and solutions
• Provides senior management oversight for assigned special projects
• Supports the business development efforts where clinical analytics are defined
• Continuously assess Vangent projects and existing tools to ensure appropriate packaging and presentation to clients and prospects
• Acts as a functional expert on billable work as appropriate

Skills Required:: |
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of 15 years of technical experience in public health and healthcare delivery, clinical analytics, and data informatics.
