One of the largest private sector petrochemical companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is actively seeking candidates for the role of general manager of product application and development for its new Development Centre in the Eastern Province.
The position will report directly to the CEO .
The principal objectives of the Centre are to become the technological leader in the application design, processing, testing in plastic related business entities and to attract Processors and research institutions to participate in product development activities in the Kingdom.
The General Manager Product Application And Development will :
· Lead in the definition, scope of services and activities of the Centre
· Lead in the development of the business and execution plans
· Participate in the review and approval of the design and required equipment of the Centre
· Lead in the recruitment and staffing of the facility
· Be responsible for the management of the operation and services of the Centre
To be considered for this exciting new position candidates should have the following:
· PhD in Chemical engineering or Chemistry
· 15 years working experience in Polymers Research and Development
· Knowledge of Polymer product usage and applications
· Experience from managing and running a research centre
· Excellent presentation skills
· A demonstrated ability to develop business relationships with national programmes and institutions
