Safety Officer
Requirements
* Knowledge of various Safety equipment like fire extinguishers, breathing apparatus, gas detectors etc.
* Capable of conducting site safety surveillance and identifying potentially hazardous situations and initiate means to rectify the same.
* Knowledge of different issues concerning HSE practices in Oil and Gas industry / installation.
* Knowledge of Task Risk Analysis, Job Safety Analysis and Accident Reporting System, First Aid, occupational illness and emergency evacuation. Possesses very good Decision making skills especially on the emergency situation.
* Knowledge of First Aid can communicate in both written and oral English. Computer Literate.
Additional Requirements:
* University Degree/ Diploma in Engineering or Technology with 2 years work experience that deals with Loss Prevention Engineering within Oil and Gas environment or related industry. NeBOSH Certification is preferred. |
