Position Summary
The successful candidate will be part of a team that develops radio calibration routines and test engineering applications for BlackBerry wireless products.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for release management activities of the test software solution use by the global manufacturing teams. The successful candidate will work closely with the product hardware teams, product software teams and the manufacturing teams to develop and archive manufacturing test improvement strategies that result in continuous improvements in productivity and quality while reducing cost of test

Skills Required:: |
Essential Skills And Qualifications
• Bachelor`s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience in developing manufacturing test automation systems using TestStand, LabVIEW, or C/C++, C# and .NET
• Knowledge of programming fundamentals and object oriented design principles
• Experience with automation of RF testing using Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, and 3GPP test equipments
• Knowledge of digital communications and RF theory
• Experienced in SW release management activities for test automation software into manufacturing sites
Additional Assets
• Knowledge of the radio link of modern wireless networks (CDMA/GSM/WCDMA/Wi-Fi)
• Knowledge of GPS
• Experience and Knowledge of Base Station Simulator such as Agilent 8960 and CMU200
• Familiarity with data communication protocols (GPIB, TCP/IP, Ethernet)
• Experience and knowledge of drivers and hardware
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical capabilities, including a strong mathematical aptitude
