Qualifications:
Education: twelve (12) years formal education
Specialized Qualifications: shall have completed courses in and be qualified to
N.F.P.A.1003 Fire fighter. Shall also be qualified to N.F.P.A.1041 Instructor Level I, Nfpa
472 first responder operational level, and advanced first and qualified.
Nationals from countries other than the United States shall possess qualifications at
Least equal to the above.
Experience: Seven (7) years experience in fire/rescue services including 3 (3) years at
Technician level. At least two (2) of the last five (5) years must have been spent in an
Equivalent position at a Category five (5) or above airport or large structural fire station
.Additional fire/rescue work experience may be substituted for up to two (2) years
Education in the ratio of two (2) years experience to one (1) years education
Language: Arabic desirable. Ability to read, write and speak English required.
OTHER: Valid heavy vehicle operator’s license in country of origin and ability to obtain
Same in Saudi Arabia. Must be familiar with N.F.P.A Codes and IFSTA Manuals |
