| Job Description: |
The LSU Marketing Head has an overall leadership role in driving the Local Salers Unit marketing activities, Portfolio and Program Management to ensure end to end planning and execution of the Marketing plans to achieve the overall business objectives in the LSU. The marketing head plays a key role in developing solution centric campaigns and ensure that the solutions are adopted by consumers.
Responsibilities include the following:
1. Marketing Planning for the country to position and promote product and solutions portfolio. The created plan will be used as a bench mark for other countries in the same market cluster
•Utilizes marketing effectiveness analysis tools (funnel analysis, response analysis, etc) to determine and prioritize marketing activities that deliver expected outcomes in terms of sales, margin, brand metrics and consumer segment development.
•Extends global marketing initiatives into appropriate local marketing mix elements, including customer and retail marketing, consumer marketing and promotions, and relevant sponsorships and events (if not determined globally), increasing sales and relevance with targeted consumer segments.
•Directs and has overall responsibility for short- and long-term planning in the lead market, deployment of resources, budgeting and expense control
2. Establish and manage the Go To Market process in the Local sales unit across categories to best deliver against strategic objectives for new launches and GTM lifecycle programs.
Act as “gear box” across Categories, Sales Channels and Marketing in the sales unit. Co-define the sales and strategic targets by category. Ensure alignment and setting rules of engagement, as appropriate to deliver:
• GTM Sales and Contribution achievement – devices & S&S
• Input to business planning
• Cross category Portfolio management ( products and solutions)
• Value chain readiness for product launches and lifecycle activities
3. Ensure organizational alignment and set the Rules of Engagement necessary for the Solution portfolio roadmap, Game Plan and GTM program commitment (sales targets, resources, requirements and support) at the Local Sales Unit level.
Ensure effective implementation of the following:
• Program execution through a common SU governance model
• Measurement of LSU programs and driving other performance metrics
• Business System Enablers readiness for existing and new Services & Solutions activities
4. Creative work.
•Drive ATL campaigns or campaign elements (digital, specific ATL elements, etc) for the Local Sales Unit.
•Direct creation of designated campaign elements, make adjustments based on qualitative and quantitative testing. Develop, maintain and monitor agency campaign work schedules.
•Manage relationships with advertising agencies to develop creative production work and monitor compliance with guidance to be used with other markets in the cluster
