| Job Description: |
To promote amongst staff & contractors awareness of health, safety and environmental (HSE) & risk management issues, treating them with high priority.
To coordinate and liaise with the Asset Teams to develop and generate suitable well intervention proposals.
To generate quality stimulation, pumping, wireline, work-over and coiled tubing programmes.
To ensure that well service activities are completed safely, in a timely manner and within the agreed budget.
To be the well services technology focal point for vendors with new equipment, services and methodologies, thus providing a potential entry path into Company operations.
To make regular visits to the rig sites to liaise closely with the offshore teams, contributing to a safe and efficient operation.
To provide mentoring as applicable to local staff in order to ensure that their professional goals are realised.
To assist in tender preparation (and evaluation) for wells contracts as required and directed.
To develop robust time plans to support budget submissions.
To contribute to Approval for Expenditure (AFE) and budgetary submissions as required and ensure that scopes are delivered within them.
Monitor the progress of work at the rig site and provide support as required to resolve technical and operational problems.
Experience of organising, facilitating and reporting on meetings (NOWOP, enter the well on paper, after action review) is key.
Ensure the preparation and maintenance of accurate well records, and end of well / campaign reports that accurately reflect all well activities and key learnings.
Coordinate the mobilisation and de-mobilisation of service contractors personnel and equipment in a timely manner.
The incumbent must be fully conversant with the appropriate industry HSE policies and guidelines & shall be expected to become familiar with Company Operational Safety Standards and Procedures within a short time.

Skills Required:: |
Qualification:
HND in Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum 10 years experience of well servicing activities.
Experience:
6 years well services experience is required, with at least 3 years related to offshore operations
Experience of sand control technology and operations is seen as advantageous.
He /she should be innovative, motivated and demonstrate a clear mentoring attitude with regard to developing wells staff. He/she should also be comfortable in being a leading member of a multi cultural team.
Experience of populating well databases in view of activity undertaken is required.
Experience of tubing design and stress analysis programmes is beneficial as experience in tool lift calculations.
A working knowledge of well test operations is also advantageous.
The incumbent shall be willing and capable of transferring their knowledge to a Company appointed candidate to replace him in due time.
