| Job Description: |
* The role is to use business requirements and perform analysis of technical requirements, specification of solutions, development, testing, support of User Acceptance testing, implementation and support of projects.
* The successful candidate will perform the role of developer/Analyst-developer. They will be required to work in a complex environment.
* The role will be based in Singapore but deliveries could be to any location globally. They will work across platforms from AS400, through Unix/Oracle to windows with a portfolio of applications.
* They will be responsible for the following functions:
* Work with the Project Manager/Business analyst, architects and other team members to design solutions of the projects undertaken.
* Participate in and work on all aspects of the technical design & specification phase of projects. Ensure solutions are defined for all requirements, solutions are agreed to by the business line and other IT teams, options are provided for large or complicated changes and all functional design is documented and delivered to an exceptional quality and is consistent across deliveries.
* Provide subject matter expertise to support development & testing of project deliverables and validation of quality assurance.
* Ensure business engineering standards are applied by all parties involved in projects and deliveries. Participate in initiatives to improve standard business engineering practice.

Skills Required:: |
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor`s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
* Must have 5+ years experience as IT developer.
* Must have a background in Investment Banking.
* Must have at least 2 years experience in the Vendor GMI application (GMI Menus, GMI query)
* With at least 4 years experience in AS400 (AS400 navigation/OS, RPG, CL)
* Must have experience in Listed derivatives clearing and settlement systems.
* Project Management experience is a big plus.
* Knowledgeable of ClearVision vendor application.Broad product and Operations
* Knowledgeable or must have an understanding of Trade allocations and average pricing.
* Knowledgeable of full development lifecycle, data analysis and structured analysis and design methods.
* Strong technical skills, including technical specification writing.
* Must have an experience of test planning and test script designFault tracking methods.
* Experienced in Unix or LinuxRelational Database (Oracle)Windows servers, Windows or Unix scripting and Clearcase.
* Must have an experience of using Test Case and Fault tracking tools, methods and test execution tools and techniques.
* Self-driven, confident, strategic but pragmatic, good communicator and team player.
* Must be willing to work in Singapore and open to occasional requirement to travel to other sites (US, UK, etc.).
* Must be willing to do some local shift work and early or late working for meetings with IT or business users in other regions globally.
* At least 6 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent. Job role in Software Engineer/Programmer or Supervisor/Team Lead.
* Contract positions available.
