Responsibilities:
Work at both a strategic and operational level to manage various personnel policies that affect people at work
Design new policies
Establish and maintain good relationships between employers and employees
Acts as a consultant to line managers on the implementation of policies
Provide assistance in the resolution of specific disciplinary or grievance cases, including acting as an arbiter between the employee and line manager
Carry out formal consultation procedures on a variety of issues as required by law
Advise others on the proper procedures for carrying out negotiations and on the special regulations relating to employment and salary agreements
Negotiates with trade unions on issues relating to pay and working conditions
Provide accurate advice on issues arising from employment contracts and legislation
Prepare staff handbooks to ensure that the workforce is aware of company policies
Ensures that grievance handling and disciplinary proceedings are carried out in line with company policy and national legislation.
Co-manage exit interviews and compile them. Provides analysis or trending on reasons of employee turnover and recommends intervention/s to minimize attrition
Facilitate and create a teamwork environment
Effectively conduct meetings
Ensure that all appropriate documentation regarding performance and conduct of employees is maintained appropriately
Prepares and reports to DOLE establishment termination report and ensures that this is reported promptly
Keeps himself abreast of labor laws to ensure Company compliance with labor laws
Performs other duties as may be assigned
Requirements:
Candidate must possess a Post Graduate Diploma / Master`s Degree in Social Science/Sociology, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management, Psychology or equivalent.
At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
Must have strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Has extensive exposure in all Employee Relations
Must have demonstrated PC knowledge including Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Highly motivated, resourceful and possesses a strong commitment for work
Ability to work on projects and meet deadlines
Full time positions available.
Must be able to work in Ortigas
