We are currently looking for web developers specializing in ASP. This is a great opportunity for professionals looking to build a foundation with a growing US based company. The primary tasks include all aspects of website and ecommerce development. Successful applicants will be responsible for the development and support of high-end distributed applications. They will work in prioritizing projects, developing project plans, requirements/specification/architecture documents, issue lists, test plans, status reports for large to medium size projects. They will also coordinate and oversee application development by offshore resources.
Responsibilities:
Architect and develop complex e-commerce websites in dot net environment
Perform programming on projects by using a design
Perform Code reviews, testing and documentation
Adhere to quality guidelines and time lines
Provide client support, sales engineering and implementation services to support the SQL Server tools business unit
Communicate status to management and business partners
Interface with business partners on getting cases approved, developing requirements, test plans
Lead design and development activities done by other members
Interface with other development areas and support organizations
Develop and coach team members
Manage programs and development projects
Requirements:
Required:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor`s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent (exceptional skills and proven work experiences may be used as a substitute)
With 1+ year of ASP Web Services, and AJAX ONBC, ADO, JavaScript/ VBScript, XMT
With at least 2+ yrs experience with program integration with back-end production databases in MS SQL
Must have experience designing and debugging multi-threaded applications in both Windows Service and WinForms environments
Must have experience designing secure applications and should be aware of security implications from design to implementation phase of project.
Must have strong customer service skills, extremely high attention to detail, aggressive troubleshooting, and strong decision-making skills
Must have strong foundation in object oriented programming and application design
Must have solid working knowledge of SQL Server, Windows, and team development practices
Must be proficient in developing major SQL Server database objects
Must be detail-oriented, flexible, dedicated
Must be capable of self-managing and multi-tasking
Must have excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
Desired:
Experience designing custom controls using System.Drawing/GDI+.
Experience with ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript and other Client-Side scripting technologies is a plus, basic knowledge of VB.NET, ASP / VBScript & IIS5/6.
Knowledge of product development cycles and processes
MCSD and/or other Microsoft certifications
