| Job Description: |
1. The individual must have at least 2-3 years experience in supervising building of underground and/or overhead OSP routes.
2. The individual must have 2-3 years experience supervising sub-contractors constructing OSP routes.
3. The individual must have experience in way-leave processes and be able to assist in implementing the process.
4. The individual must have experience in surveying of routes.
5. The incumbent must have hands on experience of survey tools i.e. use of GPS equipment.
6. The incumbent must have good PC skills and expert knowledge of working with Spreadsheets etc.
14. The incumbent must be willing to travel.
15. The incumbent must provide own transport.
16. The incumbent will report to the PM.
17. The incumbent must be able to work without supervision.
18. The incumbent must be able to ensure that the sub-contractor builds the routes according to the design specifications.
19. The individual must ensure that milestones as per project plan are met.
20. The individual is to ensure that he manages the construction in terms of:
a. Health and Safety.
b. Performance management.
c. Progress reporting.
d. Implementation quality.
e. Material Management.
